6th Form Work Experience

Over the past school year all of the 6th form students have been doing work experience every Friday. They have been asked to write a little bit about where they have been and what they have been doing there.

  1. I am doing work experiece at Mable Pritchard every Friday. I look after chilren and talk to the staqff. I work 9.30 to 2.00. I relly enjoy it.

  2. I love working at the Oxford Bus Company with my colleagues and I love doing the fuelling and the cleaning it is a hard job. I have to wear PPE and boots. i get there a nine o clock and finish a two o clock. I enjoy the Oxford Bus Company i like doing fuelling becouse it is fun to do

  3. I worked at Cowley Centre Co-op. The jobs I did were customer service and shelf replenishing I worked 9.00am to 12.00pm I enjoyed working with new people and seeing old friends who I knew from another shop.

  4. I work at carmelite retreat centre in boars hill. i wash up the dirty dishes and help in the kitchen. I start work at 1 o’clock and finsh work at 3 o’clock.

  5. I work at a small garege and I take tyres and exhaust pipe off and put new ones on.I get there about 9 and leave at 2.I like working there the people treat me like an adult.

  6. I am doing work experience at Jesus college doing catering. I start work at 11am and finish at 2pm I peel parsnips and carrots I bread some meat, take the skins off the broad beans I some times serve the food to the students and staff. I help the kitchen porters wash up dry up and put away. All the people in the kitchen are really friendly. For lunch I have fish, I have lunch with the kitchen chefs and I have a chat with them at lunch. overall I have great fun at my work experience.

  7. I work at a community cafe in Barton. I do chopping fruit and vegtables, using the till, cleaning the tables and washing and drying up. I work from 9:30am-12:30pm.
